Bethania Street Community Garden is excited to announce that a new children’s group will be starting. It will be held on the first Tuesday of each month, 9.00 to 10.30am.
This is a group created for children and their care givers to learn about gardening and enable them to explore the world through nature. Children explore the world through their senses and each month the aim will be to explore the garden using one sense.
In October, we will discover wet and dry through touch. We will discuss why plants need water and where does the water go when we water the plants.
This is a free activity to Bethania Street Community Garden members. Don’t forget to bring along a healthy snack and a drink, your hats and safe shoes.
