Do you have garden beds for rent?

No. All our gardening is done communally and produce shared.

Can I take produce from the garden if I'm not a member?

We respectfully request that the general public do not harvest produce. Members enjoy access to free organic herbs and leafy greens and we distribute the larger vegetables and fruit to our active volunteers at Wednesday Gardening Time.

If you would like to benefit please become a member. This way you get all the benefits of being involved in the community garden and your membership fees help us keep the garden running.

Do I need to be a member to come to Gardening Time or Events?

You are welcome to come along to Wednesday Gardening Time for a few weeks before joining. Our annual membership fees are very low so that everyone can afford to join. Get more info on membership fees here.

The general public is most welcome to attend our seasonal Harvest Shares and educational workshops. (more info here)

Do I need to book in to come to my first Wednesday Gardening Time?

No need to let us know beforehand. Just drop in anytime between 7:00 – 9:30am. We are a very friendly bunch and you will feel most welcome.

If I cannot come to Wednesday Gardening Time or I’m not keen to join in with the gardening, how else can I become involved?

There are a number of ways to be involved. (more info here).

Do I need to be very fit to attend Gardening Time?  ….. Is Gardening time Hard Work?

There is a variety of work at gardening time, some light tasks and some that require more strength and stamina. Our OH&S policy requires that gardeners need to have good balance and be able to walk safely unaided.
