Last Wednesday we held a very special gathering to plant a tree for our much loved Gardening Time Coordinator, Jane, who passed away after a short illness.

At our recent AGM, the Management Committee was duly re-elected and a motion was passed unanimously to make a small change to our consitution to align with our new status as a registered charity with the ACNC.

During the later part of 2025 we successfully undertook registering as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission (ACNC). The advantage is purely administrative in that we now only need to complete one annual financial report (to the ACNC). Previously we needed to complete arduous reporting to both the ATO and the QLD Department of Fair Trading.
