A year's planning came to fruition on the 6th of August with the planting of our first fruit and nut trees in the garden extension. This 275 square metres of land, licenced to Bethania Street Community Garden by the Brisbane City Council, will be filled with food bearing trees and shrubs over the coming years. Funding for this project was provided by Brisbane City Council through their cultivating Community Gardens Grant program.
